I believe this is a JP1 compatable remote. If so where and how do I plug in the cable, I don't see a place to put it.

IMHO, with the time, expense, and skill required to make the 2103 JP1 compatible, I just don't think it's worth it (and I have 2 of 'em).

Nope... I did, however, use a 4-cond stereo jack on one of mine to bring the RESET line out to the interface.
And I agree... cutting and/or soldering to traces on the PCB is difficult. All in all, it's better to spend $20-$30 for one of the current popular models (8810w, 2116/2117, etc) that are JP1 out of the box and are better supported by the group.
