Hi,
I haven't done anything with my remote in some time. I decided that it needed some updates.

Remote - Radio Shack 15-2116

I downloaded the latest IR.exe and the RDF's. When I try to pull the code from the remote I get the error messages below.

"Bad checksum at address $0000. Expected $F4 $0B ...

Does the Device "Type" matter as far as the signal sent or is it just a label type of thing? The reason I ask as it's what is displayed in the 2116 display window.

Been away for awhile. Can I use the cable I had for my 15-1994 for a new Radio Shack 15-2116?
