I can't tell from your post which rmdu file you are using. _________________ Rob

I found an rmdu in the Files / Device Upgrade section for the device.
In "DVR / PVR"
File name of the rmdu is...
"Channel Master Stream+.rmdu"
It has all the functions of the original remote. But no discrete on/off.

Normally folks post a link to files they want others to look at, as it both saves them time searching and it eliminates the possibility of the helper picking the wrong file.
I assume this is the file?

I have created a bunch of dummy upgrades for you which represent all the gap OBC codes, the idea being that you test these upgrades and if any of the buttons do anything, make a note of it and we'll add it to the main upgrade. I've also included a spreadsheet to show which OBC is on each button. In addition, I have created an RMIR file with all the upgrades added. Before you try loading this into your remote, be sure to save your current RMIR file, so you can restore it afterwards.

Thank you for the help Rob!!!
I tried all 5 upgrades that you created. My Stream+ device responded with an action to 6 of the codes. There were another 9 codes that the light on the Stream+ blinked (...as though receiving a command) but did not do anything.
But one of the codes that did work was a discrete Power-OFF (upgrade test3 - "Down")
I can post all my findings in a Reply, or update the spreadsheet, post the RMIR file I used, etc...
Let me know the best way to communicate this (please bear with me as I learn the etiquette of this forum
Thanks again!

The best option would be to create a modified version of the upgrade (RMDU file) with the additional OBCs included in the functions list. I would include the 9 that only blinked, labeling them as such, just in case a future user finds that they do something on his device.
Alternatively, you could just list the OBCs here as a reply and I'll modify the upgrade.
As you found a discrete off code, it's very likely that there is also a discrete on, but to test for it, you would need to run through all the upgrades again with the device turned off. If you do this, I would recommend starting with test3 and start with the OBCs close to the OFF code. It's also possible that it's on of those 9 "do nothing" codes. _________________ Rob

Hi Rob,
I have an upgrade file for this device that I can upload. Let me know if this should go in the diagnostics section or the regular upgrade section.
Thanks again for the help.

I’d rather see the original updated than have a second, nearly identical upgrade for the same device. |

Agreed, so Mark, please just list the codes here and I'll add them to the original upgrade. _________________ Rob
