Copy the Upgrade Code from RM's Output tab and paste it into IR's Devices tab (use the Add button). Make sure to assign the device type and setup code to the proper device button on IR's General tab. Connect the JP1 cable and upload to the remote. Disconnect the cable, save the IR file, and test the remote. _________________ Mark |

I did as suggested, copyed into IR, and made sure device and setup codes are correct. I am useing Sony advanced codes for my upgrade. But when I paste it into IR. It has device and code on the left, all functions listed , but says unmapped? Sorry if this is a dumb question, did a search, checked read me's. Maybe I am trying to move to fast? Thanks skittles _________________ If it an't broke , lets see what else it can do. |

It sounds like you are trying to add on to a device code that is already in memory. RM doesn't work that way. If you just want to add a few functions to a device that already exists in your remote, you should use the keymoves tab in IR. Enter the EFC's, the device code that they are part of and what key (and device) you want to bind them too. |
