I have an old 14" TV that I am trying to make an upgrade for, but IR can't recognize the signals, so I guess i need a new protocol as well.
Can the experts help me with this.
1. Device: Elvision XT-3725 B/G made in China
2. Type of device: TV
3. Year: 1991
4. JP1 Remote model: URC-8910
5. JP1 user? Yes
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? NO
10. Learning remote question? I have learned all the buttons to the 8910 and they all work.
The IR file is here.
Thanks

I've seen this protocol before, or something quite similar, but I can't remember where. It appears to have three burst pairs but I think it's really a case of something like "always send a 1 after a 0 or something like that.
Here's what I got from the posted signals, where the bits of the LSB OBC are labelled abcdef, and X is a checksum created by XORing the OBC bits.
You'll notice that any given column can either be 0/1 or 0/2, you'll never see a 1 and a 2 in the same column.

OK, I found the other protocol that I was thinking of, so I'm posting a link to the thread where it's discussed just so I remember where it is...

Thanks for the reply Robman.
I do apologize for the late response, but right after i post the request i had a severe computercrasch on my laptop, I tried to fix it myself, but I could'nt, so I had to send it in for repair.
For the moment I am using an old laptop that I have borrowed from a friend.
I will be back as soon as I get my laptop back from service.

I don't think I can generate this signal using the IR engine, so therefore it will need a custom executor. As I seem to be the only who writes them these days, you'll need to wait until I have some time to write and test one. _________________ Rob
