Syntax Olevia 237T Dicrete Codes

Post by cisaak »

The remote which came with my 237T_T12 does not allow me to switch inputs with one keystroke. As a result, I could not create macros on my URC 8910 to switch among tuner, HDMI, Component, etc. by "learning" keystrokes. After some experimentation, I found the following discrete codes worked on the URC 8910:

Tuner EFC 167 OBC 66
Composite1 EFC 164 OBC 68
Component1 EFC 037 OBC 72
HDMI1 EFC 043 OBC 75
HDMI2 EFC 036 OBC 76

The other inputs (Composite2, Component2, etc.) are surely in the OBC 66-76 range. With the URC 8910, it is easy to assign a discrete code to almost any key by using the Keymover function with the EFC code. I hope this helps those who want to eliminate multiple remotes.

Other than the HDMI inputs this matches the info we already had for the 537h. It's interesting that the HDMI 1 is different from the code to switch to the only HDMI on the 537.

I should have given credit to the prior 537H work by Evan_s. I used his list as a starting point for finding the 237T codes. Belated thanks to Evan_s.

I'm just glad that other people are finding the info useful. I know it made things a lot nicer for me when I got the discrete input codes working. It was worth the hassle to update the firmware thats for sure.
