Of course, there's more than one 8-in-1 Kameleon, so we would need the model number to be 100% certain, but all of the Kameleons that we know of are JP1 compatible, so the answer is still most likely yes.
However, if it's one of the models that has pads instead of pins, you will need a pogo-pin adapter.

That remote as Amazon is a re-badged version of the Radio Shack 15-2138 remote, which I have never seen before, but regardless, you should be able to use this remote with JP1 but you will need a pogo-pin adapter and possibly a Kameleon adapter also.
Here's a link to an ebay listing that shows a picture of the Radio Shack version of the remote:

RS KAMELEON 8 IN 1
Yes it is this remote. I bought one and it arrived here to Portugal yesterday. It has a set of 8 jp1 pads inside the batery's compartment. Pls inform me about what I must do to have (or build) a jp1 adapter.

Kamelion 8
Rob suggested that some require a Pogo leading me to think there are models that don't. Is there a model that has standard pins?
Here's one for $29 http://www.microcenter.com/game_room/mo ... _id=244729

The first Kameleon we saw was the RS 15-2133. It had the pads (that are increasingly common amongst various Kameleons) that require a pogo pin adapter (in addition to the JP1 cable). SOME Kameleons (like the 9960) can use the pogo adapter, but also have enough room to solder in a traditional 6-pin connector, but the 15-2133 does not have room for this.
An additional challenge with the 2133 was that the location of the pads was such that you could not use it and keep the batteries in the remote, so a special adapter was designed to allow you to keep the batteries in place whilst using the pogo adapter to access the pads.
This has not appeared to be necessary in very many Kameleons (and I do not know what the list is), but Rob was suggesting that in addition to the pogo adapter, one MIGHT require the additional battery holder-adapter for this remote, since from the front, it's form factor is VERY similar to the 2133.
