What's wrong with the online shops? In Walmart this remote is called URC-8810w.

I tried calling all the electronics store near my zip [ falls church, va ]. no one has it. None of the walmart in my area has the URC-8810w. Radio shack has 15-2116. but its not as good as OFA8811 or URC8810w [ I guess. ]. I dont want buy online, because if there is some problem, i can return and try another one.

Seeing as how you seem to have exhausted your search for the URC-8811 locally, I would recommend that you buy it from either Surf Remote Control or BlueDo, both are excellend vendors with great track records, and both will accept returns if there are any problems.

How did you check that? In person in the remote control section? Or by phone?

The model number in small print on the package is URC-8810w, but I doubt that it would be in Walmart's inventory computer that way and the large name on the package is something like "One For All 8".

For a long time these were typically out of stock at most Walmarts. But more recently, I haven't been in any Walmart that didn't have them in stock.

I wouldn't bother checking other walk-in retail. The on-line vendors have it at only slightly higher price than Walmart. But other walk-in retail typically charge much more than Walmart.

URC -8810w - I checked over the phone. Let me go to the shop directly and see. otherwise i will buy online.
By-the-by, I bought the DB25 male to 10-PIN Ribbon Cable from microcenter for $2.50. I will going to RS to get the resistor and the diode. I have to modify the 10-PIN to 6 PIN

thanks guys.

My own opinion is that the 15-2133 is not as good a remote as the 8810w/8811.

I would agree with John, skip the 15-2133 and all the other Kameleon models. If you're looking at RS remotes, go with the 15-2116 instead.
