Please enable IR editing of hex values

Several threads in the past indicate that in some IR versions it was possible to edit upgrade's list of buttons' hex values (at risk) on the Devices tab. I was able to do it in at least one of the past versions. I would very much like to see that permission brought back permanently, PLEASE

All you have to do is click the Edit button and you can change any of the codes you like.

I think you're under the assumtion that the editing used to be able to be done in the table that appears on the Devices tab. AFAIK, that has never been editable in any version of IR.

Hmm, I think you're right.

I might have forced whatever function I wanted to edit into keymoves, where it's permitted.
In any case it sure would be nice to edit right in the cell. Edit button does display the upgrade but editing it slightly more risky there
