Or are they just the color of the remotes? Was wondering why this differentiation thinking it was simply for the Map image of the remote, and that the functioning between the two are identical.
Reason I ask, for some reason my RMIR file got associated with the 1056 SILVER instead of the BLACK, which is what I have. Annoying, but seems to work nevertheless. I could not figure out how to re-ID this RMIR file to the BLACK within RM-IR program. This morning I decided to try and open up the RMIR file in a text editor, and I changed all the SILVER annotations to BLACK. Worked fine. So, I guess the Black/Silver thing is just for the Layout Image, there is no difference to the innards.
