Problems loading some KM upgrades in RM

I'm having problems loading certain KM upgrade files into RM. (Specifically every StarChoice receiver file I try. I really don't want to enter all the EFCs by hand.

) Never had a problem before, and I've tried upgrading to the latest RM 1.95 and even grabbed KM 9.17 and tried re-saving them from KM in case there was a bug in an earlier version with no luck. Something seems a little screwy... It loads the protocol info, but no functions, buttons, etc. Must be an error in the file format or something.

Rob or some other expert, can you please try loading one of the following upgrades into RM for me and try to see what is going on?

None of these seem to work:

Many other (admittedly older) KM upgrades continue to load fine. It is entirely possible I am doing something silly and wrong, but I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on.

Hi Doug,
I am new at this but here is some info I have on this subject.
I loaded the files you pointed to and had the same results.
Star_Choice.txt had all the Function names listed but no other info.
Star_Choice_DSR530_Addr0.txt only had "0" for Function name.
Star_Choice_DSR530_Addr1.txt was the same.
All three had a different small upgrade code in the output tab.

I had a similar problem with two KM files I downloaded.
This Olympus camera file had full Function names but no other info at all. Not even a small upgrade code.
It also would not let me close Remote Master. Had to use task manager.
At the time I had a trial of Excel installed so I loaded it into Key-Map Master, saved it and was able
to load the new KM file correctly into RM.

This 4DTV satellite file was more like the Star_Choice.txt file in that it had
full Function names but no other info except a short upgrade code. I tried the
same trick with this file but it did not work.

I ended up using this 4DTV Sidecar RM file for my 4DTV-905 Sidecar so I never
went any further in trying to fix the 4DTV satellite file.
I don't have Excel installed any longer so I couldn't try your selected files.

I noticed that the files all use the GI 4DTV Official protocol which is the same in the 4DTV-905 Sidecar
upgrade I used. Did you try this file or any of the other 4DTV upgrades in the file section to see if they would work?

That's all I know on the subject. Maybe one of the Experts will be able to help more.
