From RM/KM to CCF?

Post by mwm »

The Lutron Maestro KM file in the files sections work great with my
JP1 remote. However, I'd like to use them on a remote that doesn't do
JP1, but can be fed CCF files. Is there some way to get a set of CCF
strings from the JP1 file? Possibly MakeHEX will do this, if someone
can provide a .irp file for the Lutron protocol?

Thanks,
<mike

I'll try to find time to get to this. Rob just sent me a link to the description of the internal structure of the Lutron protocol (I'll need to check if that is the same as the upgrade you mentioned). It is a rather tricky protocol, which will need a more complex irp for makehex file than other protocols, but it can be done.

Is the information required to build an irp file in the rmdu file by any
chance? For that matter, is the rmdu file documented anywhere but the
RemoteMaster sources?

Thanks,
