alt-shift?

Post by just4fn »

Is there an alternative to the shift button other than the program button? I thought I saw somewhere about alt-shift.

What model remote?

Some extenders let you choose a different key for shift. Some extenders let you have two different shift keys, so that each ordinary key can have three meanings rather than the usual two.

I think there are also some models with another kind of shift (I think in addition to the normal shift by pressing the programming key) but I don't have one of those models and never understood their shift operation.

Notice the "Changing the Shift Key:" section in the ReadMe file. It answers the question you asked at the top of this thread.
