IR mis-ID Remote

IR mis-ID Remote

I have an Kenwood R720.

When I hit download within IR 6.15 the remote is identified as a Kenwood VR507. Would this cause upgrades to fail?

That just means that they used the same chip in both remotes, so from a programming point of view, they should be the same remote.
