4. JP1 Remote model: RS-15-2117

6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? Yes - not there
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes - not there
9. Partially working setup code? Not yet
10. Learning remote question? Not really

Hi all - Just wondering if anyone had put together an RDF or CCF for the Sherwood RD-6500 (or any closely compatible) before I went back through the process of re-learning how to re-use all of the fun Excel stuff and re-learning all the buttons. It's been a reeeeally long time since I've had to use my JP1 interface for anything, but this new receiver is bugging me now that it's not in my remote. Just looking for an easy-out if anyone has a workable code file that's not been posted. Otherwise I'll have to break down and re-learn it all. :) Sorry for being lazy, but life is pretty busy right now and it's been forever since I've used this stuff.

Thanks for listening.

Read the directions here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/help/

then find a clear 30 minutes in your schedule to create an upgrade for yourself. It would take one of us alot longer than that to try and do the job for you, so I doubt that anyone is going to volunteer, given that you have both the OEM remote and a JP1 learning remote.

That's an awesome help link. Thanks!

P.S. I wasn't asking for volunteers, I asked if anyone had made a file and not posted it. I'll get my own made someday and post it for all to have down the road.

Thanks again.

I think it's generally safe to assume that the people reading these forums have already loaded their upgrades to the file section, so this sort of question is not likely to get any positive responses.

When someone doesn't have either a learning remote or the original remote, we'll often put in quite a bit of effort to find the code info that they need, but it would take us alot longer to find the info and create an upgrade than it would for you to learn the signals from your own OEM remote.
