6131n/nw mod

Rob have you started moding these remotes for any of the sites that you where doing the old 6131 for?

I have had some people around here get the nw from walmart and send it in to ofa. Mine came back with 2 k but there has been 4 people here sent theres in and has come back with 1 k. 1 k is good enough for most of them but I have a friend that needs at least 2 k or maybe even 4. I had him play with my old style 6131 to see if he likes it but he wants the new style. I caint say I blame him as the new style seems to be more of a pvr remote with the layout putting the trans keys and menu nav keys together.

No, at this point the only remote that I'm modding is the old style URC-6131 (which I have to say, IMHO, is a much better layout than the new version).

If you by chance happen across one with 2k or more let me know. I will buy it for him because he has mine borrowed and I kinda want it back. I have found that my eyes don't let me do the mod like I thought I could. I guess that comes with being a grandpa.
