I've searched the forum and seen the post regarding IR and RemoteMaster running on Linux, but I haven't seen anything regarding the use of the USB cable with Linux. When I run IR through Wine it shows that both Parallel and Serial are available but in the driver status window it states that the Delcom Driver could not be found. So I attempted to download it from http://www.stanford.edu/~mgritter/libdelcom++.html but once I compiled it on my Xandros 3 laptop it didn't seem to do a thing.
In any case, if anyone has any info on how to get this USB cable to work on my Xandros laptop I'd definitely appreciate it.
Thanks
Linux Delcom Driver...

I've never run IR under WINE, but I think you're taking the wrong approach. When IR is saying that the Delcom driver isn't loading, it's referring to the Windows Delcom driver (not the Unix library you mentioned). So the first step would be to download the Windows driver (there's a link in this post.
But before you download it and install it under WINE, you should check that WINE supports USB ports. I did a quick search on google and found one French language page that when translated by google, said that WINE didn't support USB ports yet. So you should check that out first before wasting time with the Windows driver.
