This seems strange, but I just bought an HTPro (9910) and the RF command center interferes with my other remotes. Just pluging in the command center apparently floods the room with IR or something because none of my other remotes work. It's the strangest thing. I don't even have to be pushing any of the buttons on the HTPro for this weird phenomenon to occur. I plug it in, no other remotes work in the room. I unplug it and everything is instantly back to normal.
Has anyone ever seen this happen before?

I ran into this recently on my old Radio Shack 15-1995.
I found this thread:
http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mb ... d.cgi?3749
It talks about changing the resistance of R24 from 330k to 240k.
I don't really have a good electronics supply place near me.
So I bought a 1M and 10M 1/4 watt resistor from Radio Shack, and soldered them in parallel to the 330k @ R24. This give me 242k.
Seems to have fixed the problem. Not sure if the range is reduced, yet.

I was playing with this last night again. Looks like the range is reduced a bit. Not sure exactly how much, as I didn't measure before I made the change.
All I know is that I could control my Tivo lying in bed before. Now I have to have my arm stretched out a little to receive signal.
Maybe something in between 330k and 240k would have been better.
It's still acceptable to me the way it is. I hated the interface from the IR/RF box before.
