Changing Labels on 15-2117?

I want to change the labels on 15-2117. For example I want to change Sat to say Tivo. Is this possible.

I have the JP1 cable and have configured the remote to do everything else on want it to do except this task.

Anyone's help on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

The 2116/2117 extender offers a special Custom Mode Names protocol to control what is displayed on the LCD. I don't think it's available yet as a stand-alone version.

I have a 15-2117 with the extender 2 installed. I have two problems I can't get past.

1) How do I use the Set_lcd to change the labels for each device button, so it will say TIVO instead of VCR, etc.

2) I have a Sony receiver and I want to use advanced codes, so when I press SAT it will change the sony receiver input to TV/SAT, then allow me to use my TIVO, then when I press DVD, it will change the Sony reciever input to DVD, etc. I am using cod 1058, but no advanced code are available for it.

1)
you need to create a keymove for the special set lcd protocol
that keymove needs to be executed when the device is selected
see the extender2 readme
