What is DevComb in an RDF file

Post by johnsfine »

What is DevComb in an RDF file?

I just started some long overdue minor extender changes. That requires updating some RDFs.

I wasn't really following all the discussions for RDF file extensions. So when I saw "DevComb" has been added to the RDFs, I did a search here and in the release notes and in the newest RDF3Spec I could find. I didn't see any mention of "DevComb" so I don't know what I need to put on that line in new RDFs.

The DevComb entry is the vectors for the Device Combiner in the form of:

DevComb=[fav],[comb1],[comb2],[comb3],[comb4],[comb5],[comb6]

Ex: 15-1994
DevComb=$7C,$683,$11FC,,$8AEF,$1259

DevComb, and several other additions to the RDF3 spec are covered in the RDF3Spec_Addendum.doc I posted here. I tried to document all of the new items that have been added lately, both for RM and for IR.
