That's interesting.

When I was attempting to apply the 4-digit codes you kindly supplied, I got one long blink after the 4th keypress, instead of the double-blink. One long blink has historically always meant "fail" with all of the OneForAll learning remotes I've used before.

In any case, thanks for the help, Dave.

I have to say that out of all of the OFA remotes I've had, this one is by far the most comfortable to hold, and feels better built than the previous ones (that may just be because it feels heavier). Add that it has a gentle glow when you pick it up which is easily enough to help you see the buttons in the dark, and it's a winner for sure.

The only things I'd change are that not all buttons are illuminated (Ok, pause, and the direction ring buttons are not) and that the direction ring is quite slim and right next to the Ok button, so you sometimes have to really feel for it, but once you get used to that, it's fine.

For under $20, it's an excellent learning remote. I'm considering picking up another one or two while stocks are available.

Yep, long blink is still fail. I checked the code table in the remote and my code isn't there, contrary to the published code list. Sorry about that. At least that explains why it didn't work.

I agree it's the best quality remote OFA has had in a long time. It has a big following around here. I think you'd be blown away by Remote Master. You should give it a try sometime.
