cheap urc for lg service menu

It most likely isn't bricked. Install fresh batteries and follow procedure 10 below to get out of update mode. If you're running Win 8, 8.1 or 10, you must also make a change to the registry.

ok my bad,i changed the battery and it worked for the update part
what is my next move
i see that mdavej add service codes
how do i upload it
,and where to find these codes on my remote

- Install Remote Master
- Download from remote
- Go to Devices tab, New, Open (browse to my posted file), OK
- Upload to remote

When you select the device on the remote, you should see the service functions on the screen. Press the adjacent button to send the command.

I made some guesses when making the file. So if the commands don't work, I can try something else.

your codes for projector work good,
i cant change the country but the codes work,just for future reference.

Wasn't that the whole point? What would you need the remote to be able to do in order to change the country?

well the in-start menu differs from model to model,
and in my case the country is seen but can't be selected.

So the JP1 upgrade let you get into the in-start menu but it didn't offer all the choices that you were hoping for? Have you researched your model to see if there are other options?
