After hours of trying to figure out why my remote was not working, I discovered that I had accidently removed (and lost) the R22 resistor while soldering.
Can anyone tell me what type of resistor R22 is for this remote, e.g., metal film, etc. The resistor has a 100 marking, which I assume means 100 ohms.
A picture of this remote can be found at

Thanks in advance,

IIRC, the way to read the resistor values is like this: the first two numbers should be read as 1.0 then the final number is how many places the decimal needs to be moved over. For example, 103 would meen 1.0 times 1000, result = 1k
There 100 means 1 ohm.
There 100 means 1 ohm.

You're off by one decimal place.The Robman wrote:IIRC, the way to read the resistor values is like this: the first two numbers should be read as 1.0 then the final number is how many places the decimal needs to be moved over. For example, 103 would meen 1.0 times 1000, result = 1k
There 100 means 1 ohm.
103 = 10K
102 = 1K
101 = 100 ohms
100 = 10 ohms

Thanks for the replies. I opened up some other remotes I have and they all seem to have the same size resistors. Due to the small size I cannot measure the dimensions of the resistors. Could you recommend a resistor from Mouser at the followings pages:
