ADVANCED CODE VOLUME UP DENON RECEIVER

Post by Steven Kovacs »

I need volume up command for my Denon AVR3803 receiver. The remote that came with the receiver is Denon RC-9321, and the volume up button no longer works. I tried through advanced codes to create volume up, but my Time Warner UEI remote will not accept the Denon setup code of 0160 which does show an efc for volume up. The Time Warner UEI remote does accept setup code 0004 but that setup code for Denon shows no efc for volume up. Any ideas on waht I can do?

Thanks;

Use the 983 command to blink back your remote's signature. If we recognize it, then we'll know what setup codes the remote has built in. At that point we can recommend a EFC. It wouldn't hurt to tell us the model number of the remote.

For an ancient Denon receiver I have, vol+ obc=76 and efc=159.

AVR3803 might need the newer protocol which my AtlasOCAP book says to try 1360 setup. Give it a shot. They also list 1142.

Thanks Liz. The 3808 does indeed work with Audio 1360. Here are the advanced codes from the upgrade below:

MASTER VOLUME UP 01973
MASTER VOLUME DOWN 01909
