For starters we need to know the make and model of the device you are trying to control.
Then we need to know how you set it up with the slingbox. Did you use an official setup or did you use one of our bins. If you did use one of our bins, post a link to the file.
This should be easy to correct with a custom bin, but we really need information from you.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

hello
i told not well about my device setting , sorry ,
in my country , there is still a coax without extra device .
in other words,
in slingbox setting , when i choose coax , there are two choices ,
1 coax with device , 2 coax from wall ,
now i choose 2 on my slingbox .
it works well , i can press any num and slingbox can turn channel correctly ,
for example , i press "55" , then my TV turns to "channel 55 " ,
but i cant turn to 56 by press "Channel UP" , i dont know why .
i try to search solutions on web , but i find no one has this issue...
i try to ask the customer service on slingbox website ,
but he says i am over the warranty period ......
so i post my issue on JP1 , thanks

Alan is our expert. I've never seen a slingbox. Hopefully Alan will have an answer for you.
I can only guess.
My guess would be that you didn't run a SCAN when you setup your sling box for coax. The scan builds a channel list. If no list is available only direct channel entry will work. That certainly sounds like your problem.
