JP1 Remotes

It is the delimiter command, OBC 29, device code 151 for a sony HDTV. Already programmed to a button. Don't believe phantoms would work. Can the number buttons on the remote be programmed to include the actual number, the delimiter and then another number? So a "5" on the remote would always prompt ...

Is there any slick way to incorporate the "." command when accessing HDTV channels to my RS 2116? Understand you can learn the command and place on an unusued key. Just thought there might be some other solution.

Caught my error. I will have less than four. Almost there.

Almost there but now stuck. KM is loaded using RS 2116 learned codes. But I have more than 4 Sony20 subdevice codes on a Sony combo 12/15/20 setup. Any suggestions?

Downloaded your remote master file and uploaded. Very few keys worked. I am starting to create my own file from learned keys. If you have any others more closely related to the Sony DAV FR10W, let me know.

Understand. Did learn several keys and copied to my current JP1 file. Not certain how to add the learned functions to devices section of the file. Do I leave as learned? Thought that was not the best option.

I certainly did read the outline and provided all the info asked. I had simply thought there may be someone out there who was familiar with this system and had created an upgrade. The sony remote is quite complicated and learning all functions is a daunting task. I am not lazy.

Need an upgrade to Sony DVD home theatre DAV-FR10W. I have an R/S 15-2116 and am a JP1 user. No upgrades in the files section seem to work although device code 1503 does toggle the unit on/off. I have the original remote. Will combine this with my SAT receiver and new Sony TV.

I would like to add a macro. When the SAT powers on I need it to switch the ant option on the sony XBR remote one click (from off air to SAT). Likewise when I turn off the Philips SAT I would like it to switch back to off air. I will load my IR in the diagnosis area for anyone to help.

I see what you're trying to do. This is what happened:

1)Shift cbl/sat turned on the marantz to FM, the tv on, but the sony directv/tivo stayed off.

2)Shift VCR turns on the Marantz correctly, the DVD correctly. The TV comes on but doesn't toggle over to the right video input.

No toggles for the tivo to get to the Sony as it's on video 1. It takes one toggle on the Macro 2s for the DVD to see the A/R receiver input on the sony tv and you're right on Macro 3s: it turns off all and resets the tv to video one by 5 toggles so it can address Macro 1s: just the tivo and ...
