Sorry. Was slow to upload my files. Also, correct on the device code (corrected in OP). Yes, I set the remote in KM and also inserted the protocol. Thanks for the quick responses!

Found a code that worked here http://www.hifi-remote.com/cgi-bin2/ueic.cgi?TV_0145 which is 228 listed as CCC3 and UP/TIME/BLUE

It's a "KA" AP13 chassis. I've searched high and low for the user manual but also came up empty handed. I've tried up/down, left/right, don't remember seeing cursor, but I'll check again when I get home. Also, pip move doesn't do anything. I'll keep trying and I do appreciate all the help you all ...

Yep, I found a pronto file that supposedly lists all codes for hitachi RPTV's, and of course, (+) is nowhere to be found. I'll just try and run through them all and hopefully will discover it without messing up the TV.

Hey all. I have an older RPTV that does not have a remote, nor does it have front panel controls. I tried my 8910 and other universals but can't seem to figure out which funtion is (+) as with the original remote. It's used to perform the execute function for various things such as auto channel ...

Yeah, tried that, but those buttons arent lit up. Guess I'll keep em on the memory buttons for now or use the "skip" keys. I'm glad I have an 8910. A lot less complicated!

On this remote, the buttons used for "play" and "pause" are active and "page+" and "page-" are inactive (not lit). The page+/- keys are the same button as play/pause on the 15-2133, so as you can see, they can't be used. What I'm "missing" is how do I make the keys switch from "play/pause" to "page ...

Thanks for the tips everyone! I think I'll stick with just using AUX and the arrow keys to control it. UP and DOWN is full bright or full off, LT and RT is progressive dim, and SELECT is dim to programmed setting. This is too cool!
