Thanks a lot, I got the remote back to standard just by applying the IR file you linked to. I have backed it up now and got it working on my TV too.

Hi guys, I've been playing around with IR v8 and managed to screw up my new Dreambox DM8000 V5 remote. Could you tell me please, is it possible to restore it to standard some how, maybe using the info you guyd have created here ?

I know the box itself is ok because using a V4 remote it responds ...

hi again, I notice the RDF I got for the DM8000 remote is now showing an update of 24th April 2009. Is this the update you said you'd look at ?

Thanks for the reply. Here's a little more info.

As you mention, the remote only has 2 slots for devices. My V4 remote only showed the TV and Dream devices until I applied the device upgrade. It now shows the 3 devices.

So, in that respect the V5 remote is no different at the moment. I have read ...

Ok, I'll try and explain.

I have my Sony TV on 0062. TV button on the remote.
I have my first Dreambox on 0031. Dream button on the remote.

I then added a device upgrade to add the AUX mode to the remote.
I setup AUX mode on 0032 to control my second Dreambox.
I added a macro Shift & Dream, to put ...

Hi there. I now have the same problem. The new Dreambox DM8000 comes with the remote URC-39940R01. I too have found the RDF file for the remote, shown as a Dreabox V5. I applied the same device upgrade I had on my previous remote which was the 39930 to add the AUX function. This seems to do nothing ...
