None of those are mine. I just found them on eBay. You're on your own figuring all of that out. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first

Capn Trips, Do the 9910's with the donut ring deserve the bad reputation they have? They seem to be all I can find and I would like to get another RF remote.
Thank You, Jack |

Two points:
The donut ring simply "feels" a little weird, since it wobbles around, but it works just fine. I have one of those (actually my sister has it, but I program it for her as necessary) and there have been no complaints for over 4 years. So it's not really all THAT "dreaded".
Second, I REALLY doubt that any 8910/9910 you are liable to buy actually has the donut ring. Most sellers don't know the difference and routinely use any old available picture, of which the donut ring style seems to be more prevalent. Now I'm not GUARANTEEING that they are showing the wrong picture, but I have seen enough such examples to be highly suspect of them. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first
