I have a URC 8910 remote, and its been working fine...but after a few program loads...I went back in to make a change and now its giving me a memory fault error ( Bad E2 )

I have tried to reset back to factory using the OPS Reset....but thats when it gives me the ( Bad E2 ) error.

Has anyone had this problem, and if so...what does it take to fix it ??

Thanks for any help !!

Steve

Is an ops reset a 980? If so, you might want to try a manufacturer's reset 981. That's generally the fixall for JP1 remotes.

There's a cleverly-hidden and even more cleverly-named sticky post immediately above your post that describes the MFR reset. This usually fixes the Bad E2 error.
