I have a oneforall URC6690 remote. I have a CNX Conaxsat Duo FTA receiver. I have downloaded the remote codes made by rob but I am not sure how to get them to the remote. I have a JP1 Cable, IR.exe, keymap master and remote master. I am able to load the Conaxsat txt file to keymap master but not sure what to do from there.

Help would be appreciated

Thanks

What part of the beginner's readme is a stumbling block for you?

Exactly, it's hard for us to try and clarify one of the steps if we don't know which step is not clear.

OK, we'll do this the hard way.

Have you read this?

If not, please do so and then tell us which step you are stuck on.
If you HAVE read it - please tell us which step you are stuck on.

Quote:
Summary 1 - Loading an Upgrade

1. Download the upgrade file from the File Section.
2. Load it into KM using KM's "LOAD" button (in the Setup sheet)
3. Change the remote to your remote.
4. Enter any addition functions that you have codes for in the Functions sheet.
5. Re-arrange the buttons as you see fit in the Buttons sheet.
6. Copy the code blocks from the Setup sheet over to IR.
7. Assign the new setup code to a device button in IR and re-load into your remote.

We got that much from your first post. We assume that you have read the beginners docs (like this one) but found some parts hard to understand. What we need to know is WHICH parts you find hard to understand?

I load the Conaxsat txt file into keymap-master with no problems I see all of the codes for the remote.

My problem is when press the go to ir button Ir loads by I dont see the Conaxsat file.
in the beginners guide it says to press the add button to add the copied files but I dont even see the add button.

(1) Open IR.

(2) Download from your remote, so that you don't lose your settings.
(You might want to "File>Save" before continuing)

(3) In KM, in the upper left corner of the Device Upgrade block is an icon with a clipboard. Click that button and the upgrade is copied to the clipboard.

(4) In IR, go to the Device Upgrade page.

(5) Click the "add" button at the bottom of that page.

(6) In the middle of the pop-up window, right-click and "Paste" and the Device Upgrade fields will populate with your upgrade.

(7) In IR's General Tab, assign that setup code and device type to the device button you want.

(8) If KM shows a Protocol upgrade, as well, repeate steps (3)-(6) substituting the word "Protocol" for "Device"

(9) Upload to you your remote
