I have a RS 15-1994. I just received a RS 15-2117. What is the
easiest way to move all of my configuration from the 1994 to the 2117.
It seems that there is a copy and paste functionality in IR 4.01, but I
cannot seem to figure it out.

For example, when I load up my config for the 1994, on the general tab,
there is a Copy to Clipboard button next to Device Button. When I open
up the 2117 configuration, I cannot seem to figure out how to paste my
device mapping.

I hope I am missing something easy here. Please let me know...

Merry Christmas!

I do not think you can do what you want.

I could be wrong, but I think you have to go back to KM and modify the KM files for each device bt clicking on the drop down box and change the remote from 1994 to 2117 (in KM) then copy and paste this to a brand new IR configuration (file/select the 2117 rdf in IR first).

For four or five devices, if you have the old KM files, it shouldn't take you more than a few minutes.

Merry Xmas,

Steve's correct... there's no way to take an IR configuration for one type of remote and load it into another. If you have upgrades, use KM to change the remote and optionally button mappings. For the most part, key moves and macros need to be done manually.

Perhaps future versions of IR (or a replacement app) will allow this. But for now, it's not possible.
