What is your opinion on the 15-1995 remote. Is the non learning aspect a concern if you use jp1? Thanks, Doug _________________ thanks, just4fn |

"literally"?!?!?!
What does it smell like? Limburger cheese? A field latrine? I'm curious. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first

The 15-1995 uses the same processor as the "Producer 8" series of remotes (ie, URC-9800, etc). This is an out dated processor that has more limited support here in the JP1 world compared to the rest of the remotes that we use.
That being said, it's not a bad remote. It's in the same casing as the popular 15-2116 remote and it's got an RF extender. _________________ Rob

Right on Robman ... Although the remote is somewhat older model. It can do just about everything needed.
PROS
- Nice casing
- Nice key layout and number of keys
- DURABLE
- INEXPENSIVE!
CONS
- Older processor
- Somewhat limited memory capability ... enough to do all but very advanced JP1
Overall I would say "Thumbs Up" |
