Does anyone make a slim remote that has JP1 capability? I'd like to use a slim remote but would need to reprogram what IR codes it sends. It wouldn't need to have all that many buttons beyond the usual power, volume and channel.
Anyone know of such a remote? |

I think one of the smallest is the 6011/6012 or the (in my opinion best for all things DVR/PVR) 6131. Smaller than that I don't think are jp1 capable.

While the 6011 is a nice remote, it's still rather full-sized. Is there any sort fo programmable remote that's closer to a credit card sized device? I think the keychain types might be a little too small to have enough buttons. A credit card remote with programmability would be great, anyone make one? |

I guess that depends on what you mean by programmability. If you just want a remote that will operate a TV and DVD player (or either), then Radio Shack carries the 15-2148, which is pretty small. I think the smallest OFA(branded) is the URC-1030. Otherwise, maybe check ebay. |

With you speaking of very few buttons you may want to look at the weemote that surf remote offers. I have been thinking of getting one of those for my grandson (the dv one). I think the sr version even has learning. |
