Hey there,
I can get everything to work on my URC-6800 except learning. Setup-975 gives me one long flash. Does this mean that the learning memory is full? I may have filled this remote with codes a long time ago... I have not used it in a while, and now I am using it in a different room. I'm wondering what the best steps are to try now. The remote has fresh alkalines.
Thanks! |

If the remote has nothing of value programmed, do a 981 (or MFR) reset. This will clear everything in every memory, and restore all factory defaults.
If it DOES have something of value, and you have a cable, save your IR image and THEN do the 981 reset.
Try learning then. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first
