I am trying to locate codes for a dbx 4bx. the ones in the advanced code section of www.hifi-remote.com aren't valid. if someone has a 4bx and can learn the codes to a remote I will pay for remote and shipping or will send you a remote to learn them to.

There's some DBX files in the Device Codes folders. _________________ Mark |

One of our members (James Gammel) learned the signals for the 4dbx a while back and even created a new protocol to generate them, but then lost all his files in a hard drive crash.
We still have some of the original files before he tweeked them but I'm not sure how much use they will be to you. Also, there is a file in the Audio folder that contains the official UEI code for the 4dbx, which you can try, but Jim said it didn't work when he tried it. _________________ Rob

I took the easy way (for me) and purchased a Sony reciever with remote. Since what I really wanted was volume remote this solved my problem. the rest of the 4bx controls are mostly set and forget.
