| So I look at least once a week, hoping to see it, but haven't yet. If UEIC would come out with a backlit 6131 I would rush out and get it. Do you know if they have any plans for this? What do your sources say, Rob? |

I agree.. I'd buy a few of them. I just bought a 6131 to replace my old 1994.
For some reason the 6131 seems to be snappier when using it with my directivo. Not sure why, but in general it just seems quicker.
Also.. The range is slightly better. Weird, because I thought the 1994 had two IR transmitters. Although, maybe its just that my 1994 had been dropped and soaked so many times that it was dying.
I'd love a 6131 with a backlight. My wife likes the size of the 6131 much more then the bigger RS and UIEC remotes. |

Curious. Me too.
Moved my 1994 to "Upstairs Duty" and I feel that the 1994 is sort of "slow" to get the DTiVo to do what I want.
I always assumed it was an issue with the protocol I'm using in my 0618 device upgrade on the 1994, or something but protocols are a bit beyond me most of the time...
Hmm, now that the 6131m is kicking-A downstairs, maybe I should try the 2116 on the bedroom DTiVo and see if things improve. This would mean that the 1994 would be Out-of-Service for the first time in like 4 years...
