| I wanted to try going to ext2.4 on one of my 8811's from ver3.1. Is there an easy way to move all the programing over to the older version. I think all the programming is compatible with ver 2.4 |

The ExtInstall program is intended to be able to convert an eeprom image from one extender to another. It hasn't been tested enough to be confident it covers all cases, but it's worth trying.
Just make sure you have the old extender RDF in the directory with the old eeprom image and then follow the usual install instructions. |
