Wow! This is the very next topic after my last one!
Everyone's on holidays or noone's using JP1 anymore? :-)
1. Device: Onkyo TX-SR674
2. Type of device: Receiver/Amplifier
3. Year: 2009 (?)
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-8811/8910
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? Yes
6. Still have original remote? No
7. Checked the file section? Yes (there are some, but not this exact model)
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes
9. Partially working setup code? YES ! (see note below)
10. Learning remote question? n/a
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? No
NOTE:
I have found that this upgrade works (protocol-wise), but many buttons are wrong or absent.
So I guess what I am trying to do here is save myself a bit of work of finding all button keycodes. If anyone happens to have an upgrade / button codes for this particular model (as in subj), I'd appreciate that.
If the upgrade is not found shortly that's not a big deal either - means I'll have to work out all keycodes manually.
Thanks everyone. |

I have the original remote and am trying to program an RCRP05BR
Like you I haven't found an upgrade file. I'm curious if you made progress on your own? I am new to JP1 so I can't offer much help right off the bat. |

The upgrade in the first post should be very close. Try it and let us know what doesn't work, then we'll try to fill in the blanks. |

I'm learning the software as I go and taking it slow. I'll give an update when I have the remote loaded up. |
