Many ofl the dreambox remotes were flash remotes, meaning that they require a JP1.2/3 cable, not a jp1 cable.
BTW I beleive the lookup tool is not correct for the dreambox remotes. _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Finding the jp1 next to the pins is not a guarantee.
I thought the Dreambox 800 shipped with urc-39930-bj0 which is a jp1.2?
I'm not very involved with the dreambox remotes, I think the dreambox 600 uses setup code 31, but we'll have to wait for someone like Binky or Rob to give us the inside information on the dreambox.

The Main Tool section will supply most of the tools you need.
IR and/or RMIR will be needed to download from the remote.
The RDFs and Maps and images to interpret the information downloaded. _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
