|
|
Just wanted to let everyone know since HR2x receivers can now have any of eight different addresses. HERE are upgrades for all of them. The only difference among them is the Device Number in RM, using the DirecTV protocol:
Code: | Address Device Number
1 12
2 13
3 2
4 3
5 8
6 9
7 1
8 0
|
For older KM files still using Manual setting instead of the DirecTV protocol, the Fixed data changes instead:
Code: | Address Fixed Data
1 C3
2 D3
3 23
4 33
5 83
6 93
7 13
8 03
|
If you have an existing upgrade you want to change yourself, use the info above. These changes have already been made to the upgrades I posted.
Go to System Setup - Remote - Advanced Setups on your DirecTV receiver to change the receiver number. |

Thanks!!!!
Just got a second 'HD DVR' and was just coming online to search and found your posting.. Thanks!
By the way the codes also in a way work with the 'R15' <wish DirecTV would upgrade it for more codes> but it is limited to two address.. but the rest of the commands seem to be the same.

I was just wondering, do you know what the device number is for the DirecTV protocol which represents address "0"? Apparently it can be used as a universal address for a DirecTV box regardless of the address pairing. Just as Dish Network remotes can use address 32 as a universal address for their receivers.

That's interesting. I don't know, but my first guess would be device 15, which results in fixed data F3. |

That link has the directions for 10-250 HD tivo dvr. Which had address zero, the current line Directv branded receivers do not. _________________ Edmund |
