|
|
I am looking for discrete codes for HDMI inputs for an Aventage a2 AVR. The remote doesn't have direct inputs, so I can't learn them. I've tried as many different variations as I can think of from the Yamaha files on this website, but they don't seem to work, although I may be doing something wrong.
What I can do is learn the "scenes" from the remote. Since you can set up scenes to include a specific HDMI input, that would be a way around just using HDMI input codes. The thing is that when I've learned one of those "scene" buttons to my RCA RCRP05 remote, they give me a protocol I've never heard of:
GAP-550-1687-32?
I don't know how that will fit into the general NEC/Yamaha protocol.
This is a link to the IR file that contains the learned codes:

Thanks in advance.

Are you using an out of date version of RMIR? Because they decode just fine for me.
