10. Learning remote question? ?
This uses the code 0241 (241) in newer remotes but this remote doesn't contain that code. Are they any similar codes that work in this remote model ? |

Sat/0241 uses NEC1 with device code 132 and sub-device code 60.
I don't know what codes are in the URC-2505 (as I haven't heard of it before), but here are some other SAT setup codes that are similar to SAT/0241:
0720
0791
0795

Thanks for the fast reply
It seems that none of the codes are in the URC-2505 (I entered them without the leading 0 as it uses 3 digit codes). Guess it's just too old without special cables.

I assumed the URC-2505 was still a relatively new remote, but your last comment made me thing otherwise, so I did a quick search and found it.
Here's the manual:

This is a *REALLY* old remote! It dates from the early 90s, so don't expect too many codes in it to work modern devices. It's really time to retire this puppy and get a newer model, preferably one with a JP1 connection. _________________ Rob
