Are you sure it is an IR remote ? The spec does not mention IR anywhere but does mention Bluetooth, so it could be an RF remote. |

You can test it yourself. If the remote does not have an IR window at the front then it is RF. If there is a window but the remote still works if you cover it with your hand, then it is RF. |

Not to doubt your information, but could you tell us how you know the device is IR controlled? For example, have you looked at your remote using a digital camera (like the one in your cell phone) to confirm that you can see an IR signal, or have you tried covering up the window on your remote to confirm that that prevents the remote from working? _________________ Rob

i checked with the camera from my phone and can see the IR light flashing
