Just got one of THESE brand new for $16 shipped. Overall, it's probably the best JP1.3 remote available today.

Torn between getting two of these to replace my current two 6131n or just finding two new 6131n to mod... decisions decisions _________________ Treat everyday like a dog:

Go w/ the Atlas. LOTS more memory. Almost all keys available in almost EVERY device mode, making upgrades more "complete" not requiring a lot of keymoves. And you don't have to mess with upgrading it with an EEPROM and a connector. _________________ Beginners - Read this thread first

Yeah I have been leaning towards the 1056s but really wasn't sure. The ones on ebay say they are backlit so hopefully they are. Now to get in contact with Tommy to get a JP1.2/3 cable and then its off to the races. Gonna have to do some experimenting as my laptop is running 32bit Win7RC while my desktop is running 64bit Vista Ultimate.
EDIT: well just pulled the trigger on two of these. Now to wait and see how quickly I get them. Once that is done then to pick up one of tommy's cables _________________ Treat everyday like a dog:
