Hi
I got a used TV tuner TMY TSTB-R50 and tried to connect my slingbox 350.
But I can' find bin file for TMY TSTB-R50.
Does anyone can help me to activate remote control TSTB-R50 through my slingbox 350.
Thanks,

Pity. Can't help I'm afraid. I get the codes from the Logitech Harmony IR Database, and TMY is not a recognised manufacturer in their system. |

Unless you can borrow/buy a Harmony Remote or a Nevo C2. We could do it with them. |

mitsu,
Google turns up this page (in Japanese) which has a section about controlling the TSTB-R50 from a computer via a repeater. It has links to two LIRC files which may correspond to your tuner, but I can't tell for sure. Perhaps they are describing a system that uses an different IR protocol which might imply that the TSTB-R50 can learn to use any IR protocol. Or, perhaps these LIRC files are actually the ones for the TSTB-R50. Please look at the link.
There are two LIRC files. I think the one named TS-RKT01Z_usingSerialPortReceiver.conf is probably well formed; the other one seems to be partial learns. I don't recognize the IR protocol, but we can make an executor for this if we think it will control the box. |

IrScrutinizer decodes it as NEC-f16.

barf,
Yes, I imported both LIRC files into IrScutinizer. The NEC-f16 decode from DEcodeIR.dll is obviously spurious, since the IRP is something like {38k, 420, lsb} <1,-1|1,-2> (8,-4, A:8, B:8, C:8, F:8, 1, 75000u, (8,-8, 1, -75000u)*). I think the other LIRC file omits the lead in and the first 23 bits, which is what I meant by a partial decode. (Of course we need to allow for my unfamiliarity with LIRC and difficulties in writing correct IRP.) |

Dear Experts,
Thank you so much for the sending me these great information.
I'm sure it is ready to finish bin file.
Unfortunately my basic knowledge is too far to complete it by myself.
I have to learn how to build bin file. It may take long time !!!
So I'm still expecting anyone can help me to give me a turnkey bin file.
BR,

Alan,
Here's a RMDU file that I've tested with a RCRP05B. We don't know if this IR protocol is really the one used by Mitsu's box, but I think it is worth a try. I have no idea how one would map some of these functions to a Slingbox remote skin, although the above link to the Japanese page does show a remote someone has drawn on their computer screen using Python. |

Dear 3FG and Alanrichev,
Thank you so much for your support both are works fine.
Very great news for me !!
I've used Remote as Slingbox with UEIPL Chip and export binary then works for 3FG's rmdu file.
Alanrichev's one is working well as it is.
Now this is more my curiosity, but if you can give me more time please let me know how to make it as real controller. How to complete it with real skins ?
Do I need a picture of TS-RKT01Z ?
BR,

You need to find a built-in remote that uses a similar image to the one you want. Have a look at these to see if anything matches. http://slingbox.wikia.com/wiki/Skin.toc |

Dear Alanrichevy,
Thank you so much for the information of the Skin catalog.
I think I have to move to beginners section.
But please help me on more thing.
I would like to use SamsungSMT-H3106 c1253_PL.bin for my Remote.
But I can't find it in my RemoteMaster version 2.04 pull down menu.
Please instruct me how to use non listed skin into RemoteMaster ?
