I've successfully labeled device keys using the custom mode name protocol as instructed, BUT the keymove created to do this doesn't appear in my list of keymoves. Is there a way to view these keymoves, otherwise how can I edit these keymoves? I tried by overwriting an existing one, but wasn't allowed. |

This should appear on the Special Protocols tab. My guess is you followed the instructions on how we had to do this before IR had been programmed to handle this Special protocol. |

Are you using current RDF?
If it vanished from the list of keymoves (old method), I suspect it went into the Special Protocols keymoves which is what Vicky just said.
Does your RDF show this section, if not, it should
[SpecialProtocols]
DSM=01FC
LDKP=01F9
ModeName=01F8
Multiplex=01FE
Pause=01FB
ToadTog=0181 _________________ Liz

WOW! As great as this whole JP-1 thing is, the forum support is even better. Thanks both for the quick replies.
I'll have to guess that I have the current RDF, though I can't say for sure. These 'keymoves' show in the Special Protocol Functions as you both suggested.
Thanks again for all the help.
I'm amazed at what I'm able to do with my own remote, I can't even imagine the functionality of the ones you're using. |
