I'm sorry for your loss. You have my condolences. Thank you for sharing these pictures with us.
That's really intense that the remote control is using an ARM9E processor almost seems like overkill. My apologies for the choice or words. _________________ Remotes; JP1.2: Comcast URC-1067, JP1.3: Insignia NS-RC02U-10A, JP1.4 OARI06G, JP2.1: Cox URC-8820-MOTO (still trying to figure out how to make them self-aware.) |

Are you sure its dead and not just in a coma? Have you tried new batteries and a manufacturers reset? |

Same problem here.
I've ordered new battery on ebay but it didn't solve the problem.
Little later I noticed that if I put a strong light on the LCD I can see the "Xsight touch" boot screen, then nothing, then "Xsight touch" boot screen again in loop.
It seems that the remote boot and crash before the backlight step.
Maybe it's firmware related.
Additional info: in this state PC doesn't see remote when connected with USB cable.
Anyone knows how to perform some kind of reset? (I've already tried to remove batteries)
Button combination, hold button(s) and put battery back, etc?
Any help will be appreciated. |

Thanks,
I just tried that procedure. Unfortunately it didn't help. I noticed that now boot logo no longer appears. |
