I cannot for the life of me figure out how to access the shift keys so that i can expand my keys on a device. I've tried the magic button, the ESC/Light button...
Anyone know? _________________ Remote : URC-7780 & URC-10820N |

Did you know that on an unextended remote you need to press the shift key 2x to get to access shifted numbers? My guess is the magic button is your shift key. _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

That 2x is only for shifted numbers, other buttons only need 1x. The remote interprets a shift followed by a number to be sending an efc. _________________ Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.
