|
|
Hello,
I wanted to know if someone out there has got the JP1 upgrade for a TutleBeach Audiotron Digital Audio Receiver.
I am thinking in getting one (don't have it yet), but one precondition for me purchasing it would be if I can control it with my universal remote.
I have a RadioShack RS-2104, but I installed the extender on it, and I think that makes it lose the learning abilities, so I wouldn't be able to get the codes that way. |

There is a ccf file at http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/kb_ftp/114ftp.asp with all the commands. Here they are courtesy of John Fine's DecodeCCF.

So the answer is yes,you can control it with a 2104.
BTW, to use learning, save your extended file do a 981 reset, remove batteries press a button for a few seconds and do another 981 reset.
That takes you back to the default unextended remote and you can learn from there. When you are done learning (and decoding your commands) do a 981 reset and reload your extended file and press the power button ad you are off and running.
If I left out any steps, someone correct me. I probably have a few too many resets, but I am pretty sure it will work but you don't really need to do it with the commands above. _________________ -Jon |

Yes, there are files for the Audiotron in the JP1 Yahoo group that are all ready to go...
